Recipe : Chili
Our recipe for chili:
2 pounds ground beef
3 (15oz) cans chili/kidney beans
1 (15oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1 medium sized onion, chopped
4 cubes beef bullion + 1/2 cup water (or about 8 oz homemade beef gravy)
1/8 cup chili powder
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 Tbsp garlic powder
1/2 Tbsp oregano
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp sugar or honey
Brown ground beef in large stock pot. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer. The longer you simmer, the better it will taste. I try for at least 2 hours. Serve with crackers, chips, cheese, or however you like to consume your chili!
