Annukka - I didn't notice any correlation at all. Then again she doesn't have near as fussy a digestive system as Cody did! Probably cause I cut out milk though. :-)
But the flavor is much more muted in leeks so maybe the same stuff that gives tummy upset is muted too?

I had to avoid all onions during the first six months of nursing. After six months it seemed like I was able to eat anything without causing baby problems. Did you have any problems with the leeks? I like leeks, but with baby number 2 almost here, I'm mentally preparing to eliminate items from my diet that might not make baby happy.

Thanks,
Annukka

What a cute carnival idea! I actually made cabbage rolls today for the first time using collard greens instead of cabbage. They were quite delicious! And organic since they came from my father in laws garden! I'm posting it on my blog later tonight. www.lovinggfcf.blogspot.com

YUM! The soup looks wonderful. I like all three of those things, although leeks are sort of a hassle, and my DH will not eat asparagus or cabbage.

My mom and I are going to attempt cabbage rolls sometime this week. It will probably be my "Family Recipe Fridays" post this week if you're looking for more ways to eat cabbage!
