Wednesday

- snack – fruit
- dinner – chicken mac and cheese, broccoli
Thursday

I was wondering about your goal to have no grains at breakfast, and was wondering if this was a goal related to fertility, or health, or what? I am trying to make some life style changes to enhance fertility. If you have a moment, please email me your answer at emballing@hazubu.com. Thank you!

@Emily, Emily, in short it’s kind of related to both. See, even if it’s whole grains, it still produces an insulin reaction to digest. And when your body has to many insulin spikes (sweets, natural sugars in fruits, and breads) it can actually upset your reproductive hormones. Because insulin is actually a hormone as well, and when one is upset, they all get upset.
Plus the fact that I’ve not had a lot of time lately to soak my grains before I make them. There by causing my body to lose nutrients in order to digest them.
And I personally have a problem with grains. I love them.
They are my comfort food. But to many in our diet isn’t actually that healthy! So, I find that cutting them out of one meal at a time can be helpful for me in weaning off of them again. Otherwise I tend to overeat and that is not helping my cause in losing some of this extra baby weight!
