Thanks so much! I tried this and it worked well!

I did try freezing my bread, and it worked when I wrapped it in heavy tin foil. ;)

@corrie, I just store my baked goods in a ziploc and suck out the air with a straw! Never had any problems. I've tried freezing my homemade bread a couple times and wasn't impressed. I don't know if batter would thaw well, but you could bag up and freeze the dry ingredients and just add the wet ingredients when you want to make it! I used to do that quite often and it works great.

Ok, I apologize for just barging in, but I came across the idea of baking day and am intrigued. My one question is:

What's the best way to store all this stuff? I understand freezing things like sauce, cassaroles, etc. How does the muffin storage go and the baked goods storage go? We freeze our bought bread, but would really like to whip up a bunch of bread and store for the long haul.

As a side note, can you just store batter, or do you need to cook?

Thanks in advance!

Just check a couple updates down - I replied to someone with it.
