@Dawn, It's the filter that causes the dioxin. If you use one of those reusable stainless steel drop in filters or maybe really good 'green/organic' (?) filters, it wouldn't be an issue.

Thanks so much for sharing this information. It is nice to read a post that recommends incoporating certain animal foods into a diet and limiting the intake of some well known "good for you" foods --i.e soy. Everywhere you go nowadays you hear vegan this and vegetarian that and while I love to eat consciously, it's important to understand how food affects our bodies at a hormonal level. And a healthy hormonal balance is extremely important in maintaining a overall well-being.
Thanks again!! I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts!! ~Christine

I have to know what you're referring to with a coffee maker. If the same things go in (hot water/coffee) how would a coffee maker create a toxin coming out?

Great information here! I just wanted to say that for the first time in 6 children, I am experiencing amenorrhea (natural absence of cycle due to breastfeeding). The ONLY thing I've done differently is eating organic hormone-free, grass-fed meat! Amazing what changing one little thing can do!
