As many of you know, this year I’m on a kick to get more fermented foods into our diet. Already I feel better and can tell when I go a few days without them.
I’ve also been a fan of Cultures for Health for quite a few years and love the products they provide! You can get everything from kefir grains to cheese cultures. They also carry sourdough starters.
Whether you are new to the world of fermenting or have years of experience behind you, this company has what you need to be successful in feeding your family living foods.
This week, Cultures for Health is sponsoring a fabulous giveaway for my readers……. a $50.00 gift certificate! To enter, you can sign up here on their website:

They are also offering a special discount for you all, 10% off until the end of February when you use the code: NKU2013
What have you started fermenting lately? Anyone try the gluten free sourdough starter? I tried my first loaf of GF sourdough bread and it turned out fairly well. It was dense, but not heavy or brick-like. I’d like to try it out a couple more times before I post it, but so far the results have been promising.
I don’t quite know what happened this week, I’ve been unable to post….anything, or even write anything. And now it’s already Friday……. Next week we’ll pick back up on our healing the thyroid series. Though it’s so much more than for just healing the thyroid, but for healing the body no matter the symptoms.
I also hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day with your loved ones. Todd surprised me with “flours”.
He gets me.

Is that code right? I’ve tried it on 2 separate occasions, both were unsuccessful.
