Free Fertility Yoga Videos

Since my natural fertility book was released this week, I’ll be posting some free videos, podcasts, and printouts throughout the month. Many of which were used in the natural fertility workshop I ran a couple of years ago.

Has it really been that long ago? It’s like you take a breath and the months fly by.

Today I’m releasing a couple of the yoga videos my friend Jennifer helped me with. It was my first time in a long time doing yoga (and I had only taken a handful of classes before), so you get to learn right along with me.

Oh the fun of showing people this……

I have a couple of videos up now and will add more over the next week or so.

And while I still have yet to get in any type of regular yoga practice, I can also say that I felt fantastic after this session. My body felt limber and I felt refreshed yet relaxed.

  1. I have been practicing Iyengar yoga for a few years so I was happy to hear you mention it on the Underground Wellness podcast too! I really enjoyed the videos you posted. One of my favorite books is “The Woman’s Book of Yoga and Health: A Lifelong Guide to Wellness.” It includes sequences for women at all stages of our lives. For example, all the poses that she did with you are in the chapter on menstrual health in that book. Proper usage of props is very important with Iyengar. I have a bolster, blankets, blocks, belt, etc. I’m happy to see that my absolute favorite pose- Supta baddha konasana, is good for fertility. I could live in that pose. It requires a lot of props but it’s well worth it! I didn’t make it to my yoga class today so I did the poses you posted along with some others. I’m about to get my period, sigh :( , so I did a bunch that are good for cramps!

    @Amanda, Thanks for the book recommendation! I’ll have to look into getting that one.

    As much as I try, I just can’t get into regular yoga practice. :-/ I should get on that huh?
