My holiday wish list

The last year or so, I’ve really begun to look at what I put in my house in a different light. Not only do I want things to be non-toxic and healthy for my family, I also don’t want to be overrun by stuff. And with another baby on the way, this becomes more and more important. I mean, how much can we really fit into our home at one time? My son is just as happy playing with his wooden train set as he is with a giant box of toys. (that being said – that giant box of toys is being whittled down and things will be given away! We have to much stuff!)

So here are some ideas for you of all the things that not only I would love to have, but other mommas out there would love too!

Ideas for the mom-to-be:

A really cool Nursing cover

Organic Body Butter

Or a really cute shirt

Some dipes make a good gift!

Ideas for a new baby:

Stay away from toxic plastic toys and buy wooden rattles

Cute cube rattle toys make great gifts too!

An organic/non plastic teething toy

And I love this yoyo doll. It reminds me of one my sister had when she was young!

A minky blanket

Ideas for a toddler:

A set of Safari wooden animals

Cool wooden puzzles

Handmade wooden toy cars

A Waldorf Doll

Or phthalate free baby doll

Ideas for the homemaker:

Cast Iron skillets, cause if you haven’t heard – Teflon and non-stick pans can be toxic.

Glass mixing bowls – trying to stay away from plastic and I’d like to get rid of the ones I have.

Stainless steel pots and utensils – again, no more plastic and no more teflon!

A butter keeper – for keeping my butter fresh longer

And a couple of big kahunnas:
The Bosch mixer – Oh, how I would LOVE one of these!

The Grain Mill – eating fresh flour with all the nutrients in tact would be awesome!
