My New Blog Adventure: Natural Living Moms

Many of you rather recent readers may not realize this, but I started out blogging with a “mommy blog” called Raising Peanuts. Not much direction, lots of chatter. :-) It was a way for me to connect with like-minded moms and enjoyed sharing my life and information so much that I began this blog here at Naturally Knocked Up and wrote for both for just over a year. The community here flourished and I became passionate about what I was sharing and almost 18 months ago I closed down shop in my “mommy blog”.

Since last summer I’ve felt a calling to get back to writing more about my daily life and the topics I’m constantly surrounded with. Though the idea of posting about the sensitive topics of kids on a fertility blog just wasn’t something that appealed to me and due to my adrenal fatigue I was experiencing, the thought was put on the back burner until just a couple of months ago.

I’ve been busy working on a new blog and am really pleased to announce that we’re officially launching it today! Natural Living Moms is going to be a community of mommas looking to raise happy healthy kids. The community part? Yea….you won’t just get to listen to me and my thoughts. I have 5 other women joining in the conversation regularly and another 5+ guest posting a little less regularly. Even better? You can join in too and share your thoughts.

We’ll be covering lots and lots of issues surrounding being a mom:

  • parenting and mothering
  • natural health (ear infections, vaccines, colds, etc)
  • pregnancy, birthing, breastfeeding
  • food and nutrition for kids
  • reusing and repurposing, being frugal

The great part about it is that you’ll get not just one idea and opinion, but many! Panel discussions and differing views – because what comes natural to one mom may feel foreign to another. This next month we’ll be bringing you posts on gardening, non=toxic cleaners, recipes, antibiotics and supplements along with many more.

If you’re a momma, I really hope you’ll join us. Your support means the world to me because without you this blog here would be nothing. I love it if you’d share it with your friends and come on over and subscribe or “Like” us on Facebook too. 😉 (of course I would – putting out new content and seeing no one read it is like being told you’re going to Disney World and you end up at Busch Gardens A bummer. And I’d be a tad bit bummed if my stats stayed at zero)

Check out this month\'s sponsor, Natural Fertility Shop. They are 100% focused on helping you during your journey towards parenthood and have expert staff and knowledgeable customer service here to help you every step of the way.
