Planting a Medicinal Herb Garden

growing plantain

Last week-ish, I wrote about some of the medicinal herbs I was going to be planting in my garden this year over at Simple Homemade.

Over the last couple of years I’ve been using an increasing amount of herbs in my home. Not only for cooking, but also for making my own home remedies.

Preparing herbal remedies is a wonderful way to boost my family’s health and support our bodies when illness or injury happens.

This summer season I’ll also be planting many of my own medicinal herbs. Being able to grow and harvest my own herbs will not only save me money, but will allow me (and my family) to experience herbal medicine at it’s best.

You can read more about the seven medicinal herbs that will be in my garden this year by heading over to Simple Homemade and checking out my article called “Planting a Medicinal Herb Garden”.

What herbs are you making sure to plant this year?
