She looks tired……

709419_sleepyYup, I heard that as I walked the halls of church yesterday.

And last night was a prime example of why I look like a walking zombie.

10:45 – Fall asleep

11:30 – Baby wakes up

1:15 – Finally get baby back to bed

1:45 – Finally fall back asleep

2:00 – Toddler tromps upstairs for unknown reason, put him back to bed

2:15 – Baby wakes up again

2:30 – Baby decides it’s playtime

3:00 – Finally get baby back to sleep by laying down with her on the couch and falling asleep myself.

6:15 – Baby’s up, husbands up. Try to nurse baby back to sleep so I can sleep.

6:30 – Toddlers up. No more sleeping for the day.

Did you do the math? That’s a whopping 4 hours and 15 minutes of sleep. Tis the season of my life. And really, that’s okay. I just hope this season doesn’t stick around as long as our Michigan winters tend to!

  1. That sounds about like my nights! only mine is all my 13 month old. Who still thinks she’s a newborn and needs to nurse all night.
