Have you noticed I’ve posted more often? Or maybe that I’m just plain old writing a lot more in each post? (I’ve been blowing through my word count limits like crazy.)
A few of you have noticed now and either commented on the blog or have emailed me to let me know. This whole feeling better thing really is fantastic! While I still have bouts of fatigue, they are getting fewer and farther between. I’ve also been able to jog for two minutes without feeling like I’m dying, and I’m sleeping better than I have since my miscarriage. Another big plus on the sleep front is that instead of either dreamless sleep or nightmares where I’m either screaming at someone or something bad is about to happen, I’ve had pleasant dreams that I remember in the morning. I also haven’t had a bout of insomnia or night-time anxiety in over three weeks. It’s amazing how wonderful sleep is.
I’m hoping to continue to make progress and see positive changes, and while chatting with my MD today during my yearly physical (that I’ve put off for four years…..) he seems to think I’m also headed in the right direction. Some doctors drive me crazy, but I do like my MD. (even if he probable doesn’t agree with me on everything…..and I’ve never told him I drink farm fresh milk!)

If you’re looking for some help with meal planning, you might want to look at eMeals. They have a paleo meu plan as well as a gluten-free, clean eating, and a natural and organic plan. We’ve tried out the paleo dinner plan (given to me to review) over the last couple of weeks, and have incorporated a few of the recipes into our old standby meals. The sage and lemon pepper chicken was a huge hit with everyone, especially Todd, who keeps asking me to make it again. The one thing I have noticed is that with some of the recipes I need to add a veggie side to them, but otherwise they look great so far and have really helped us broaden our horizons when it comes to food!
I also like that I can download the PDF files to keep on hand for other weeks.
You can get 15% off any meal plan at eMeals by using the code: NEWYEAR (expires February 10th)
These calls are done by Magdelena of The Thyroid Detox Coach, and her next call seems very fitting since we just discussed the issues of blood sugar balance on thyroid disorders!

I’ve already put this on my calendar and hope to join in, because as much as I know sugar isn’t good for me and it directly affects my health, I need to keep hearing about it. Otherwise I tend to fall off the bandwagon……..
