What if You Can’t Cook?

So, what happens when you’ve finally decided that you and your family need to eat “Real Food”? Meaning food not from a box or can. If you’re anything like what I was am, it means lots of flops and not so great tasting food. And LOTS of odd looks from a husband.

ahem.

For years now I’ve wanted to take culinary classes at our local community college, but it’s to far away, the classes aren’t scheduled when I can take them, and to be completely honest – I’m kinda lazy like that.

I don’t wanna have to get all fanciest up to go cook.

I wanna do it in my jammies. With my hair all tossed back in super fabulous ponytail. Cause I like to be glamorous like that.

Oh, and bare feet.

Cause seriously? Who wants to cook with shoes on?!

What I love about the internet (and the great friends I’ve found through it) is that not only are they still teaching through their blogs, but also in these online courses or workshops. Take for instance my friend Jenny from Nourished Kitchen. She’s launching a course next Tuesday June 1 (how’d we get to June already?!?!) all about how to cook! I wanna take it just for the week on how to make real, fermented pickles!

Because that’s on the top of my list to tackle this summer.

And if I know Jenny, she’s gonna go all out on this course as I don’t think I’ve ever her seen her do anything other than ‘all the way’. She’s got it chock full of video tutorials, worksheets, tip sheets, meal plans, and much more. It’ll be the next best thing to having her actually come over to my house and show me how to cook.

If you’re able to sign up and take this course, I’m sure you won’t be sorry. And signing up through this link helps support my site as I am an affiliate through Nourished Kitchen. But like always I would never lead you astray!
