Winter Wonderland

(Wordless Wednesday)

Our deck just a couple days before Christmas. And another 5 inches was actually added to this as well.

A week later it was 50 degrees out and rained almost 2 inches. Mass flooding ensued. (luckily not in our immediate vicinity!) Seriously though….next time we move, it’s gonna be on the other side of the river so that we don’t have to worry about all the roads being flooded over! Driving 20 miles out of my way to get around it, just to get to church, was not my idea of fun.

Oh my – that is some snow! We live in NC and don’t get snow very much and never that much. :(

  2. You have got to love the crazy weather of this winter. Cute pic.

Looks like our house, except hubby decided to shovel the deck before it reached this stage. We got rain, too….then a nice layer of ice.

  4. That’s some serious snow! We are in Central Ohio, and all we seem to be getting is freezing rain. Ugh.

  5. I feel your pain. This winter has been totally rough!
